London Roof Terrace

Small in nature, big on design this rooftop setting in Battersea Power Station development, was a challenge to encompass the importance of the river and immediate setting, but concealing the expanse of metal wall that occupied the space.

The brief was to create 3 separate useable spaces along the length of the apartment of just 15m.  The change of level with raised decking provided the dining platform and the use of furniture and planting created the necessary separation.  Bespoke planters with evergreen Jasmine on trained wires addressed the need to conceal the black metal unit.  We introduced dynamic lighting and heating elements for year round use.
